I love books and I love movies, so when books get made into movies, it’s a double win! And whenever I hear that a book I love is getting made into a movie I GET SO EXCITED. Anyone with me? Sure, the book is (almost) always better, but it’s still so much fun to see a book you love acted out on the big screen.
Even when the movie ruins the book, it’s still fun! I know all you movies-ruin-the-books believers are screaming at me right about now, but hear me out. Seeing the book done badly in movie form makes you feel something, right? You feel anger. You feel frustration. You want to roll your eyes. It gives you something to think about and talk about and then, GUESS WHAT? The book is still there, in all its perfection. And that book will never change.
So I love the movie versions of books (even when I don’t). Yeah, it still doesn’t fully make sense, but whatever. I’m keeping it.
Here is a list of 15 Middle Grade and Young Adult books that I would love to see made into movies. Someone make these, please!
